Some of the most ludicrous rugby scores ever!

Rugby is hard on players at the best of times. But a big loss will make the bruises all the more painful. Here is a list of some of the heaviest defeats suffered by tier 1 and 2 nations in the history of rugby union. Some of these rugby scores are simply unfathomable:

Okay so, as harsh as it may seem, Namibia being battered by Australia isn’t too far of a stretch. Romania suffering a 134-point loss to England – also not too unbelievable, even for England. But to think that world-beating South Africa somehow made it on to this list is just crazy!

There have been bigger scorelines in club rugby and in the lower tiers of internationals but these are some of the biggest teams in the world! That said, as entertaining as it may be, I doubt we’ll see any scorelines like this in the upcoming Six Nations fixtures. Or at least for the sake of the the six nations, I hope not!
